Molly’s in the Fall

West of Newton where the Bear River exits into Box Elder County is a hill that the locals call Molly’s.  The river has cut a deep canyon on the south side of the hill, which is now called Cutler Canyon after the Cutler Reservoir that was built in the early 1900’s.  Even further back in the history of the region, Jim Bridger rode the Bear River through this area on his way to the Great Salt Lake.
